Internet overtakes TV

This year, the worldwide pioneer at online advertising investments, the United Kingdom, establishes the trend and shows us the new spin that has changed the Companies communication, focusing more on web advertising than on traditional media such as television. PricewaterhouseCoopers shows us how, for the first time, the online investments lead the companies communication with their target markets, with a 23,5% compared with TV’s 21,9%.

The forecast tells that Internet can reach a 30% of the advertising budget, which would make it the highest percentage in the media history.

After a lot of speculation about the attempt of Microsoft to buy Yahoo last year, finally they have come to an agreement and decided to forge a 10-year strategic alliance with the launch of a new search engine that will compete directly with Google.
With a powerful design and many expectations, Bing faces the market and seems to be very effective, although Google’s board declared not to be worried about it, since they have the leadership of web advertising and are convinced that they won’t lose the first place.

All about Mexico

Giraffe Ideas took part at the event “All About México”, space dedicated to support Mexican relations and commerce, held this past Thursday, June 18th, at Tuscany Italian Bistro at the Hard Rock Café & Casino.
At the event many Mexican and Latin-American organizations gathered and had the opportunity of participating in an excellent networking.
The Global Business Calendar, who made possible the event, brought together more than 150 entrepreneurs and leaders in a complete Mexican environment with mariachi and Mexican dances, compliment of the Mexican Cultural Institute in Miami, who’s director, Arturo Morell, honored the evening with his presence.
